Background
After a successful and lengthy career at NYU Langone Health, Kirk Lawson wanted to branch out into his own business of Executive Leadership Coaching. Kirk and I successfully partnered together for years at NYU Langone on his numerous design requests, which led him to tap me as the resource for his new venture’s branding and graphic design.

Creating the Brand
Kirk and I discussed his vision for an upbeat and professional logo reflecting the optimism and ambition he wanted to instill in his clientele.

Defining Brand Guidelines
Once we decided on the final logo design, the next step was to create brand guidelines that determine the visual voice of the company. This includes the color palette and font choices.

Applying the Brand
The first design request after cementing the brand was creating Max Impact’s website. The site would need assets including photography and illustration. I infused the color palette into photos and created original illustrations to be on brand.
